About the Authors

 

MARILYN LEWIS has had six short plays produced in Houston. She developed an interest in musical theatre through her participation in Stuart Ostrow’s Musical Theatre Lab, where she served as a collaborator on Magic Mountain of Fresh Air (Hobby Center, 2003). She is a member of the Dramatists Guild.

 

PHIL SMITH, a writer and musician, performed with the Houston Symphony Chorus for fourteen years and has produced several original musical works for theatres, cabarets, churches, and other venues. He has worked with Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars in their children’s musical theatre program.
